Terms

These terms cover everything Raybot sells: custom project work, digital invitations and code templates. Plain language, and they mean what they say.

Who you are contracting with

Raybot is a sole trader based in Beirut, Lebanon, operated by Rayan. Contact is through the form on this site or the WhatsApp number shown on it.

Lebanese law governs these terms, and the courts of Beirut have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Project work

A project starts with a written quote naming a fixed price, a delivery date and the scope it covers. The price does not change unless the scope does, and a change of scope is agreed in writing before it is worked on.

Payment is half on acceptance of the quote and half on delivery, unless the quote says otherwise. Work begins once the first half has cleared.

Ownership of the delivered code transfers to you when the final payment has cleared. Until then it is licensed to you for review only.

Thirty days of fixes are included after delivery for defects in what was delivered. New features are not defects.

Digital invitations

You are responsible for the content you put on an invitation, including the names, photographs and text, and for having the right to use them.

An invitation is paid by OMT, Whish or bank transfer, in US dollars, once you have seen it in preview. The payment details are sent to you privately on WhatsApp with an order reference, and the invitation is published when the payment is confirmed. A funeral announcement is the exception: it is free, and published as soon as it is ready. There is no card payment yet.

An invitation stays published and reachable at its link until twelve months after the event date. After that it can be renewed; if it is not, the link stops working and the data is deleted after thirty days.

Before your invitation is published you see it in preview, and two rounds of changes are included. Once it is published, send changes on WhatsApp and Raybot makes them, while it is live and up to twelve months after the event date. A change never moves its link, and everyone who opens it sees the current version.

Your guests’ replies go from each guest straight to your WhatsApp. Raybot does not receive them, keep them or use them. See the privacy policy.

Raybot does not put its own branding on a Premium or Bespoke invitation. Essential invitations carry a single “Made with Raybot” line at the bottom.

Gifts never pass through Raybot. If you add payment details for gifts — a Whish number, OMT details, a bank account or a gift-list link — they are your own, guests pay you directly, and Raybot never receives, holds or forwards any of that money.

Code templates

A template licence covers one developer and an unlimited number of that developer's own projects, including work done for clients.

You may not resell a template, redistribute it, or publish it in a public repository, in its original form or lightly modified.

Until online checkout exists, templates are sold by message. Once your payment is confirmed, the files are sent to you by the channel we agreed: a zip file on WhatsApp or by email, or read access to the repository.

Updates are included for twelve months from purchase, and are sent to you the same way.

What Raybot is not liable for

Raybot's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the thing the claim is about.

Raybot is not liable for lost profits, lost data that was not backed up under an agreement covering backups, or for third-party services going down.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Lebanese law.

Changes to these terms

These terms may change. The version that applies to you is the one published on the day your order was placed, and it is kept on file.

Material changes are announced on this page with a new date at the top.

The photographs on the occasion pages, the invitations page, the service pages and the design demos come from Unsplash and Pexels, and the demos’ videos from Pexels, used under their licences and served from this site. Thank you to the photographers and filmmakers who made them.
